| Executive Pastor Spouse:Inge, love of my life; married 32 years Children: Joshua, (25) Emily (23) Abigail (20) Natalie (18) Year you came to CFBC: 1993. I'm the new kid on the block Something you wish everyone would understand and embrace: The absolute deep satisfaction of having Jesus at the core of one's life and values. He means everything to me& more than life. A favorite ministry memory: Training missionaries in Europe . . . teaching Arab pastors in North Africa and the Middle East . . . and but especially preaching here at CFBC. I would rather minister here than anywhere else in the world. This is family. This is home. Favorite Scripture: Psalm 96:1-5 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Your greatest wish for tomorrow's generation: They would find their deepest satisfaction in Christ, that their lives would genuinely count for Him, and that they would not be swept downstream with the rest of American society towards materialism, self-centeredness and superficiality. Your greatest desire for our church family: That they would find genuine and authentic life in Jesus, and experience joy and satisfaction in the day to day walk of faith. Favorite movie of all time: Donald Miller: Searching for God Knows What; To Own a Dragon; Blue Like Jazz Favorite sport: Shuffleboard. (Just kidding!) Football, of course! Someone who inspires you in your Christian walk: My wife John Piper John Perkin |
