CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP MINISTRIES

Christian Fellowship Baptist Church (CFBC) is located at 4509 Troost. Expository teaching is exalted from the pulpit every Sunday. This is the "commercial experience" where everyone present can hear about God. The question is where do we begin to see the Word of God come alive and how do we impact the everyday lives of people?

Our Mission - With God's approval, we seek to be a congregation that meets the spiritual and physical needs of people by developing the church to impact the community, impact the community to change the city, change the city to affect the Nation, all according to Gods agenda based on scripture.

 

TROOST OUTREACH CENTER

Next door to the church Troost Outreach Center (TOC) has been established with the primary responsibility to illustrate and demonstrate practical living in every area of life. TOC serves as the Infomercial experience that is developed (1) as a support for practical living, (2) to come up with prototypes to help us understand how practical living should look and (3) serve as a model for how the Community Impact Centers will operate.

COMMUNITY IMPACT CENTER

CFBC and TOC serve as the HUB that impacts the area near and around 45th and Troost area. The Community Impact Centers (CIC) will immediately increase the range of outreach by erasing geographical boundaries at the neighborhood levels.

Connect with our current Troost Outreach Center to illustrate and demonstrate practical living in every area of life at the neighborhood level.

DIVINE STRATEGY (ACTS 1:8)

A Community Impact Center must include these unique elements:

1. Neighborhood Friendly

2. Be apart of the current housing stock

3. Provide office space for the Neighborhood Association

4. Present a "Biblical Alternative for Living "

 

DIVINE ACTION (I CORINTHIANS 9:22)

Our first Community Impact Center is D.A.V.E.'s Place. It is located in the Walnut Grove Neighborhood at 74th and Brooklyn. It currently houses office space for the neighborhood association and No Greater Love Ministries, Inc. A small conference room is designed for meetings and a reception area that can be extended for a relaxed training area.

Future plans are to finish the basement area for larger meetings and an exercise room. A larger deck on the north side of the house will include a ramp that will allow the facilities to become handicap accessible.
