Finance Pastor Spouse:Terri Children: Coriana (12), Tierra (16) Year you came to CFBC: Terri and I were founding members of the church in 1989. Something you wish everyone would understand and embrace: To see this generation come to love and embrace Jesus in absolute commitment, and to not be swept away by the world's substitutes. A favorite ministry memory: In 1989 when we first walked into this building, we were about 12 people with a dream and no money. It was nothing but an abandoned warehouse . . . a disaster. To think back how God has grown CFBC from where it was to what it is today is nothing less than a miracle. I am just excited to see where God will take us in the years ahead. Favorite Scripture: Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good, to those who are the called according to his purpose. Your greatest wish for tomorrow's generation: That they would genuinely embrace the truths of God in Scripture and that their lives would reflect Jesus in everything. Your greatest desire for our church family: That we as a church would learn and practice the love for each other that Christ shares with us without compromise. Favorite movie of all time: The Terminator. I can't help it J Favorite sport: Football . . . The Chiefs Someone who inspires you in your Christian walk: I hope this doesn't sound strange, but I would have to say the other guys on the pastoral staff. |
